Flights:
The nearest airport to Patara is Dalaman airport at approximately 1hour 45 minutes drive away, but it is also possible to fly into Antalya which is approximately 3.5 hours drive from Patara.

Car hire
For a holiday in Patara car hire is not essential as there are many facilities in the village centre, only a short walk from both the apartments and the villas.
However, some guests who wish to have the independence to go off exploring the local area under their own steam may wish to have the use of a car, particularly if going off the beaten track or wanting to explore further afield. A car certainly gives you more independence but it really depends on what you are wanting from your holiday. If you are just wanting to ‘chill and relax’ then a car is not needed.
Guests with young children may also want to consider the independence and flexibility a car may offer to make life a little easier. Those guests who do not want to be tied to bus times may find it easier to have a car for getting to and from the beach at times that suit the family, for going shopping and for simply being able to ‘pop back home’ at times that suit the kids.

Airport transfers
On your arrival in Turkey we can arrange a comfortable airconditioned airport transfer if required. The driver will be waiting at the airport EXIT doors to meet you. He will be holding a board with your name clearly written on it.
